Ten years of building the energy transition, hands on
ZeroEmichion is an engineering & consulting company focused entirely on the energy transition. The work started with solar and batteries in the field, moved through to combining solar, battery and hydrogen overcoming seasonal fluctuations. Today it centers on the integration of energy systems such as compressed hydrogen storage systems with composite pressure vessels for off-grid, off-road and on-road applications and optimized charging infrastructure for households.

Off-grid solar & battery systems
Developed and installed off-grid solar systems with battery storage in the field, sizing generation and storage for locations with weak or absent grid infrastructure.

Decentralised hydrogen for Dutch households
Research at TU Delft into a stand-alone solar–electrolyser–hydrogen–battery–fuel cell system for residential use, with hydrogen providing seasonal storage.

Compressed hydrogen storage systems with composite pressure vessels
Design and development of composite pressure vessels and complete compressed hydrogen storage systems for on-road and off-road applications.

Standardisation for greener inland shipping
Development of certification standards for a greener inland shipping industry through the use of hydrogen systems.
